Once again the Tuckwell Amphitheatre is delighted to welcome the perfect entertainment for a summer's evening - Peter Gill & The Good Time Charlies with their ever popular A Swinging Summer's Evening.

Cheltenham born boogie woogie, swing and rock n roll pianist and vocalist Peter Gill and his band will perform their usual eclectic mix of cool swing standards and boogie woogie, rock ‘n’ roll and blues favourites such as 'The Lady Is A Tramp', 'Bad Bad Leroy Brown', Well Alright Okay, You Win', 'Mr Bojangles', 'Down The Road Apiece', 'Route 66' and 'Mack The Knife'.

This is an evening of sublime musical entertainment interlaced with Peter’s friendly and witty banter.

Ticket purchases are subject to a non-refundable £2.00 booking fee per cart.

Registered disabled patrons are also entitled to a concessionary ticket, plus a second ticket for a companion to join them for the event free of charge. Please note this is an Open-Air event in the Tuckwell Amphitheatre, the surrounding site has uneven terrain underfoot with no flat level access to the seating area. If you have accessibility needs, please contact the Box Office to discuss suitability of the venue. Hot and cold drinks, including alcoholic beverages, will be available to purchase along with a selection of snacks, sweets and chocolate. Please bring low-backed seating (camping/deck chairs are ideal) and prepare for all weathers. In the event of unsafe weather this event will transfer into the Bacon Theatre.
